By combining construction efficiency, performance and high environmental quality, Xella solutions adapt to all needs and the requirements of current and future regulations.

Xella is particularly proud to contribute to cultural and solidarity projects by supporting institutions that use its materials. The exhibition "Face to Face Arcimboldo" is a nice example of a partnership with the Pompidou-Metz Centre (France), with which Xella shares many values.

Since 29th May, the Centre Pompidou-Metz has been hosting a new exhibition dedicated to the Renaissance painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo and the influence of his unique work on generations of modern and contemporary artists.

The exhibition "Face to Face Arcimboldo" brings together works by the Italian master, including the famous Seasons du Louvre and rare drawings from la Galerie des Offices – Florence (Italy), with major works by more than 130 artists including Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, Marcel Duchamp, Giorgio De Chirico, Annette Messager and Cindy Sherman.

As an integral part of the project, the scenography, designed by Berger&Berger and produced by Atelier AtoY, is just as ambitious and makes the most of Ytong autoclaved aerated concrete. No less than 5,200 blocks, i.e. 166 m3 of Ytong autoclaved aerated concrete, were used to build the exhibition's décor in order to highlight the artist's works.

This exhibition has the particularity to make discover magnificent works as well as a new facet of autoclaved aerated concrete solutions: aestheticism and design!

You can visit this exceptional exhibition at the Centre Pompidou-Metz in France until November 22nd, 2021.
