42nd China Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Industry Conference

During the opening ceremony, CACA awarded honorary certificates to the 12^th batch of engineering and technical personnel who have worked in the AAC industry for more than 20 years, and made the announcement of the 9^th Council Technical Expert Committee and Standardization Working Committee. President Stephen Shen delivered a welcome speech, pointing out that the current market demand in China's real estate industry is declining and that the AAC business cycle enters the trough stage. How to overcome adversity to thrive in a crisis becomes an important issue that needs to be considered seriously by the entire AAC industry. He proposed three ideas. Firstly, that the entire industry shall pay attention to product quality to prevent the phenomenon of "bad money drives out good", encouraging AAC producers to strengthen product quality control with the support of local industry regulatory departments and associations. CACA also plans to set up an evaluation system to release a whitelist of good AAC products. Secondly, he proposed to care about ''China double carbon target'' and learn from advanced foreign experience. CACA will organize experts to conduct targeted research on AAC products, focusing on the application scenarios of ultra-low energy consumption buildings and prefabricated buildings, and developing more new products, production technologies, and application technologies. Thirdly, he also advocates that the entire industry shall actively engage in exchanges with the global market and seek development opportunities worldwide.

The conference invited experts, scholars, and business elites from various fields to give keynote speeches on how to achieve high-quality development and transformation in the AAC industry under the current situation.

Xingshou Sun on behalf of China Building Materials Federation made a speech on the topic of overcoming adversity and thriving in a crisis, addressing the development trends in the building materials industry. Chadwick Chen and Xuan Wang on behalf of the CACA delegation shared impressions and ideas from 7ICAAC and talked about the future development of China's AAC industry and carbon reduction ideas.

CACA also invited the editor-in-chief of AAC Worldwide, Michael von Ahlen to talk about the history and future trends of the worldwide autoclaved aerated concrete industry. Dr. Hatem Aldarrat on behalf of WKB Systems gave a speech on the impact of capex vs opex in AAC plants.

Jason Zhang on behalf of Keda Suremaker gave a presentation on design and application of green, low carbon, intelligent AAC production lines. Yangchun Zhang of UBlok Advanced Building Materials Co., Ltd. made a speech on the practice of reducing carbon, saving energy, improving quality, and lowering costs in AAC plants. Hong Li of AAC People Internet Technology Co., Ltd. presented the new launch of AAC Industrial Internet research.

Wei Chen of Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. talked about his ideas on enterprise management during the economic cycle. Xin Nie of Donyue Machinery Co, Ltd. shared their overseas development experience with all the participants. Further interesting speeches were made to round off the programme.

At the same time as the conference, CACA also held the committee meeting, summarized the work of the Association in 2023, and reviewed and passed the proposal. Secretary General Zhang Sicheng reported on the preparations for this industry conference. On the last day of the conference, CACA also organized participants to visit Xin’an’s AAC production line, which is supplied by Keda Suremaker, as well as the AAC application show room.
