AAC again to be featured at ICCX Russia 2020

The Russian market for aerated autoclaved concrete has developed positively in recent years. In comparison to the preceding year, the production volume grew between 1.4 and 3.8 percent in 2019. Similarly, expectations for 2020 and 2021 have been optimistic.

And how can the present market situation and future expectations really be described now, at the end of 2020? Alexey Semyenov will answer this question and provide insights into current developments in the Russian market for wall building materials. The managing director of the specialized market research institute GS-Expert will address the various segments, such as bricks and blocks, and, of course, AAC.

Maintaining a successful business through the crisis

Which cementitious binders are suitable for the production of AAC, and how can they best be utilized? This will be discussed in the presentation by Prof. Jürgen Oecknick, who will join the event from Swiss-based PSA Zurich Area ltd. During his international career, Prof. Oecknick gained experience at Dornburger, Schwenk and Holcim. With his extensive industry insight and technical knowledge, he already contributed to the session in the previous year, highlighting technical advances in the international industry in relation to regional application opportunities. On December 03, he will present an informed overview on the application potential of specific cementitious binders for AAC production.

Gleb Grinfeld, Managing Director of the Russian Association for Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (NAAG) and owner of the Moscow-based planning office "Gleb Grin", which specialises in AAC, will take to the podium as an entrepreneur. He will introduce prototype houses designed and marketed by his office. The focus of the presentation will rest on the conceptual design.

How can you successfully market and sell your AAC products even in difficult times? Related solutions and opportunities will be introduced by Andrey Bashkatov, COO Russia of the Xella Group.
