Opening Ceremony

On the morning of November 7, the conference officially opened. Sun Ziqiang delivered a welcome speech, followed by a keynote report from Association President Stephen Shen on the theme “Quality AAC”, “Comfortable Home”.

President Shen pointed out that the industry is currently facing a real estate downturn, causing overall AAC production to decline, although prefabricated construction is driving an increase in the proportion of AAC panels. The rising standards for “Comfortable Home” call for higher product performance; overseas expansion is becoming a growing trend, but presents various risks and challenges. At the same time, new opportunities have emerged – expanded demand from “Comfortable Home” initiatives, urban renewal and rural self-built housing markets, accelerated upgrading toward higher performance and efficiency, and the release of overseas market potential.

The industry must strengthen its foundation and expand boundaries through innovation, empowering the high-quality development of the construction sector. Shen emphasized that China’s AAC industry stands at a critical transformation point: moving from reliance on real estate to diversified markets, from product upgrading to global deployment. Empowering “Comfortable Home” with “Quality AAC” will allow the industry to reinforce its foundation despite challenges and seize new opportunities. The future of the sector is full of promise.
