Successful completion of the 39th Annual Meeting of CACA and 2019 AAC International Forum

Opening ceremony

In the morning of December 5, Zhang Sicheng, Secretary General of China Aerated Concrete Association hosted the opening ceremony and welcomed participants.

Chadwick Chen, MD of Keda SureMaker, gave a welcome speech and emphasized Keda SureMaker’s desire to work with all experts in order to promote the continuous development of the AAC industry. Torsten Schoch, CEO of Xella Technologie- und Forschungsgesellschaft mbH and convener of the Technical Committee of the European AAC Association, delivered a speech for the opening ceremony on AAC panel market and application in Europe. He hopes there will be more opportunities for AAC experts, from all over the world, to exchanging ideas.

Mr Xiangyuan Sun, Chairman of CACA, introduced the associations´ annual report 2019. Mr Aiguo Wang, executive Chairman of CACA, named the experts who were engaged in the AAC Industry for the past 20 years. Mr Feng Yuan, executive Chairman of CACA, presented the list of the thesis winners.

During the two-day conference, interesting speeches were given on “Steel structure external wall panel envelop system” by Mr Qisong Miao, deputy chief engineer of Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute; Mr Yufeng Su, professor of department of civil engineering materials in Tongji University, topic was “Factors affecting the setting process of the cement- lime system” and Mr Glumov Arkadii, member of NAAG, the Russian AAC-association and the head of Project and Technical Support Department and Marketing of H+H Russia, introduced the Russian AAC industry and highlighted some examples of the construction with AAC in Russia. Mr Jie Lu, deputy general manager of Keda Sure- Maker, discussed “Mathematical analysis of the geometric structure of pores in AAC”, followed by Mr Franz Loderer, head of the department applied research/ building physics from Xella Technologie- und Forschungsgesellschaft mbH, where he outlined a new generation of AAC. The last presentation of the first day was given by Mr Andrzej Konefal, sales specialist and technical adviser with Benda-Lutz Skawina. He explained the importance of the quality of aluminium powder and paste is for the whole AAC production process.

Mr Zhefeng Yang, chief engineer of Ublok group, opened the second day of the conference with a speech on “Overall planning of intelligent manufacturing system for AAC plant”. Dr. Berit Straube, head of the department of product and process research of Xella Technologie- und Forschungsgesellschaft mbH, gave insights into the durability of sand based AAC.

Mr Binrong Yu, vice president of Hangjia New Material Co., Ltd, presented new ideas of expanding the AAC panel application field and Mr Martin Schopflocher, editor of Argentina AAC standards and Industrial Project Manager of Retak Company, gave an overview of the AAC market in Argentina and South America. His presentation was focused on the challenges, strategies and chances of AAC in his country. The final presentation, given by Mr Hiroaki Yanagida, former executive director of Asahi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd, focused on ALC panel in Japan and a possible adaption to China.

Exhibition with national and international industry suppliers

About 50 Chinese and international acting suppliers from the Autoclaved Aerated Concrete industry showcased their state-of-the-art equipment in the exhibition. Manufacturing equipment from Spare and ware parts up to whole AAC-plant solutions were introduced to the visitors.

Sining ceremony

Keda SureMaker invited customers and friends to dinner at the end of the first conference day. AAC professionals gathered and made use of the excellent networking opportunity. During the event, Keda SureMaker signed strategic cooperation agreements with Ublok Group and Anhui Hengda light wall material Co., Ltd..

Gala-Dinner

The conference culminated with a Gala-Dinner, a dinner light show, Huangmei Opera, magician, modern Korean dance and other acts, which provided an unforgettable experience for everybody. Traditional Chinese food was enjoyed by all.

Company visit

After the conference, Keda SureMaker arranged a tour to its´ production facility close to Ma´anshan City for all participants. In conclusion, Keda SureMaker hopes the autoclaved aerated concrete industry will advance in the future.
