The 9th Member Congress and the 41st Annual Meeting of the Chinese Aerated Concrete Association

From August 16 to 17, the 41^st annual Green Low-carbon Intelligent Forum was held by CACA. During the forum, the 40^th anniversary of the association was reviewed, and other commemorative activities were carried out. More than 600 guests attended, representing the national AAC industry from the fields of scientific research, design, equipment, manufacturing, testing and application.

Mr. Shen Xiaohe, as the new President of the 9^th Council of CACA, expressed sincere respect to the Board of the 8^th Council and gratitude for the trust and recognition from all the participants. He also expressed his determination to keep promoting low-carbon emissions and technological innovation in the Chinese AAC industry and confirmed his dedication towards leading the sustainable development of the industry and its various enterprises.

Mr. Sun Xiangyuan, President of the 8^th Council of CACA, delivered a speech on behalf of the 8^th Council, thanking all members, directors, supervisors, and vice presidents of the 8^th Council for their strong support for the work of the Association. At the same time, he expressed hope that the 9^th Council and its principals would promote innovation, dedicate their time to the interests of the industry, support the development of high health and safety standards in the AAC industry, and work towards great achievements in all respects of their professional activities. In conclusion, Mr. Sun Xiangyuan wished the AAC industry a glorious future.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of the Chinese Building Materials Federation, made an important speech. He fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by the AAC industry in structural adjustment, technological progress, energy conservation and emission reduction in recent years. He further highlighted the achievements made by the 8^th Council of CACA. He expressed hope that the new Council would make great contributions towards assisting China's building materials industry by promoting green, low-carbon technologies, as well as high safety standards and high-quality standards

During the meeting, a short film on the 40-year historical development of CACA was displayed to all the participants. It also commended individuals and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the AAC industry in China. Wang Aiguo, Yuan Feng, Wang Xuechen and Sun Weili won personal honors. Beijing BBMG Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Co., Ltd, Anhui Keda Industrial Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd won enterprise honors.

In the next ten years, there will still be 20 billion square meters of new construction demand in China. The research and development trend is to develop low dry density panels, and increase the share of panels in AAC products, which is expected to exceed 6 %, and strive to reach 10 %. The diversity of raw materials will become a new trend, and it is necessary to strengthen process research and development.

The two-day conference was accompanied by an industry trade exhibition, featuring more than 50 exhibitors from the local Chinese AAC industry.
