Agnieszka Spychalska, Country Head Poland and Michael von Ahlen, editor-in-chief of AAC worldwide, made their way to Warsaw to find out how the major players in the Polish autoclaved aerated concrete industry are reacting to the new concept and to hold informative talks with Polish decision-makers.

Among the discussion partners were Wojciech Zdziechowski, Chief Operating Officer of H+H Poland, who manages all of H+H's AAC plants in Poland, and Robert Turski, who is also responsible for all of the Xella Group's Polish plants (and another one in Russia). Both of the above-mentioned professionals were able to confirm that the building material autoclaved aerated concrete has a very promising future in Poland and the whole Central European market. In addition, talks were held with researchers at various universities, which resulted in fruitful cooperation and information exchange for the upcoming ICCX.

The Polish association SPB (Stowarzyszenie Producentów Betonów) is very positive about the event and supports ICCX Central Europe as a valued partner.

In summary, it can be said that there is tremendous interest and certainly a growing need for a specialist event in Poland. We expect the ICCX Central Europe 2020 to celebrate a promising debut by integrating the autoclaved aerated concrete sector. Visitors can look forward to the event in anticipation!
