4th MEDMA Workshop on Jobsite Automation

On November 24th, 2019 MEDMA, the Middle East Drymix Mortar Association e. V., invites to its 4th “Workshop on Jobsite Automation”. The event will take place at the Expo Centre Sharjah as part of the conference and exhibition ICCX Middle East 2019 (International Concrete Conference and Exhibition). The workshop program includes six interesting presentations by representatives of leading manufacturers of drymix products as well as of internationally leading suppliers, amongst others from Wacker, JK Cement, m-tec and Haver & Boecker. The topics range from specific applications, e. g. “White Cement in Drymix Applications”, to case studies, e. g. “Large Scale Drymix Mortar Application Using Silos and Pumps”, and presentations of products for drymix production, e. g. “Bag to the Future”.

Promoting and developing drymix applications

The organizer, the association MEDMA, was founded in 2006 and has been registered as a German Association in 2007. Its region comprises (in alphabetical order) Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria and the United Arab Emirates. MEDMA is the international not-for- profit professional/industrial association uniting all technology and sustainability driven producers of drymix mortars with the industry supplying raw materials, equipment and automation to produce these green materials in the Middle East.

The association and its members connect with legislators and decisionmakers throughout the region in order to push for standardization of drymix mortars with consideration of the regional building traditions and climates. MEDMA members are permanently adapting new developments from the international community to the requirements in the region and providing a know-how transfer and exchange for construction professionals such as developers, architects, engineers, foremen and the scientific community.
