System for placing the bottom layer of sand-lime bricks

After you have marked the positions of the walls on the base plate, the OCA pyramid is ready for use. This is mounted directly on the base plate with a concrete screw. After all walls are marked and the OCA pyramids are positioned at all corners of the wall, the height of the first layer is checked with a laser.

In the next step a mason´s lacing cord is laid around the pyramids. This step is also very simple because there are notches on the back of the pyramids where the cord can be fixed. It is important that the cord is fixed very tightly to ensure the exact height of the first layer. When the first layer is laid, the OCA pyramids can be removed and re-used later on.

The pyramid is made of plastic and is therefore light and yet very stable. One packaging unit contains 25 pyramids, 25 bolts, 25 wedges, 1 drill bit M6 and a drilling template. The cases are stackable with the cases of most tool brands like Makita and Festool. The pyramids are available in two different sizes, for small- and large-format bricks.
